RETAIL BROKERS, INC. (RBI) HIRES DIRECTOR OF LEASING AND INVESTMENT SALES ASSOCIATE

(PRLEAP.COM) SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Retail Brokers, Inc. (RBI), one of the largest retail-focused commercial real estate brokerages in the Southwest, has recently hired Tom Bruner as Director of Leasing and Kevin Matthews as an Investment Sales Associate in the company’s Arizona office.

As Director of Leasing, Bruner oversees the production and administration of more than 25 agents, 200 properties and six million square feet of retail space throughout Arizona. A native of California, Bruner has an extensive background in leasing and sales of commercial real estate, having previously operated his own commercial real estate company for 18 years.

He has been involved with and closed hundreds of transactions totaling more than $350 million as a licensed real estate broker in California. Bruner has also taught real estate principles throughout California and Nevada to more than 10,000 students for a well-known real estate school.

As an Investment Sales Associate, Matthews has more than five years of commercial real estate experience, with an emphasis in retail investments.

Previously, he worked as a salesperson for Axxiom Partners in Scottsdale. He also worked as a junior salesperson for Sperry Van Ness in Woodland Hills, Calif., and as an investor services/research coordinator for Sperry Van Ness in Phoenix. Matthews studied business and real estate at Scottsdale Community College and at Arizona State University. He holds an Arizona Real Estate Licence and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
