October, 2007 (Prescott, AZ)—Marketing Strategist Michele PW (Pariza-Wacek) likes to help entrepreneurs in the information business succeed. Not only does she supply her services as a marketing strategist, but she offers lots of free articles and resources on her web site, MichelePW.com. And since last summer, when she launched MichelePW.com, she's had an unlikely helper—her border collie, Nick.

"He told me he really would like a job and he thought it would be fun to help out by writing a column on my web site," PW said, about the new column written from the perspective of a dog.

Nick's column, Barks from Nick, www.michelepw.com/nblog, appears in PW's bi-weekly newsletter Results! Nick uses stories drawn from his own life experience to explore relationships and marketing. They cover topics like positioning and marketing the obedience school he plans to start, finding a business coach and life with his pack mates, Roxie and Maddie.

"It's tough to publish a bi-weekly newsletter even if you are a writer," said Nick. "Michele is so busy already, so I thought I'd step in and help take some of the burden off her. And besides, I've got a few things to say about marketing and copywriting—you don't think Michele is the only one reading all those books around here!"

It's a good fit. Because like Nick, PW uses stories and anecdotes in her life to enliven her blogs and newsletters. Covering themes from personal development to search engine optimization, PW's writing serves small business people and entrepreneurs who are learning to think and dream big.

"If I let the cat out of the bag—which Nick's been after me to do; he wants something to chase - and admitted to some small role in Nick's writing style," PW said. "I'd have to mention that adding stories to your marketing communications is one of the best ways to capture the attention potential customers and persuade them to become actual customers."
