The Next Level of Compliance Program Available from Domino ISG

October 02, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
Dallas, TX – Global systems integrator, Domino Integrated Solutions Group, announced today the availability of its next generation of compliance program, Compliance Next Steps™. Compliance Next Steps follows a systematic, modular approach based on Domino ISG’s Compliance 1st program to deliver scalable RFID systems that meet mandates from such entities as the US Department of Defense (DoD) and retailers like Wal-Mart.

Compliance Next Steps provides customers the necessary hardware, software and services to implement a compliance program with minimal disruption to current processes and existing equipment. Compliance Next Steps utilizes a portable conveyor which allows companies to increase the throughput speed of boxes requiring compliant labeling, and addresses the need to scale this capability across multiple product lines. As a complete system, CNS’s methodology enables manufacturers manage increasing RFID enabled inventories and leverage the business benefits beyond vendor mandated compliance, such as Wal-Mart’s policy.

A Compliance Next Steps system enables automated case labeling by determining and directing both RFID and non-RFID product through the appropriate labeling process. Palletization is another feature of Compliance Next Steps, which streamlines the pallet-building process by increasing the visibility of product distribution. Domino ISG’s program also incorporates the integration necessary to download critical order information needed to support RFID labeling of pallets and cases.

“Hand applying compliant labels was only the initial step in compliance, but not a long-term, scalable option. For RFID to provide the level of visibility anticipated, adopters of this technology have to look at incorporating it within their manufacturing and packaging processes,” said B. Dwain Farley, CEO of Domino Integrated Solutions Group (Americas). “With this in mind, Domino ISG created its Compliance Next Steps program. This level of compliance is a critical step for suppliers in helping them add new SKUS’ and more volume to existing RFID enabled SKU’s.”

Domino Integrated Solutions Group provides RFID solutions based on its proven methodology, RFID Ready, Set, Go!™, to deploy solutions that range from compliance to full-scale systems. Key deliverables for all Domino ISG projects include on-site education, feasibility studies, on-site tag testing, pilot and project design, and ROI analysis.
