Bowland Solutions are to work with the Human Resources department of Capital Markets division within Allied Irish Bank in Dublin, to pilot a new on-line 360 degree feedback process in support of line management development.

Having established a robust set of ‘People Management Guidelines’ which outline the competencies necessary within a line manager role, Bowland Solutions are to create a web-based solution that will enable line managers to go through a 360 degree feedback cycle both annually and at the interim stage.

For the interim assessment, individuals will be able to run a ‘pulse’ 360 process that allows them to select just those competencies that were highlighted as requiring development actions.
Management will also be able to run aggregated reports across different demographic groups, so that they can see trends or development needs emerging across grades of manager, teams, departments or organisation wide.
Brendan Walsh, Managing Director of Bowland Solutions, adds “We are extremely pleased to be working with AIB and are looking forward to delivering a solution which meets their exact needs – our ability to customise to each unique client is a key strength of ours and allows us to work with our clients as they take their own route to solving key HR requirements.”

AIB Capital Markets comprises AIB Group's Global Treasury, Investment Banking and Corporate Banking businesses. The Division operates world-wide through offices in Ireland, UK, USA, Canada, Europe and Asia Pacific through a range of specialist business units and subsidiary companies.
