Phillips DiPisa Sponsors Team at MBC Charity Golf Classic

HINGHAM, MA, –Phillips DiPisa, an executive search firm serving healthcare providers, managed care organizations and life sciences firms, today announced that it sponsored a team in the MBC Charity Golf Classic on September 7.

370 members participated in the thirteenth annual MBC Golf Classic. This charity tournament was the second largest in the event’s history. The event raised awareness and support for the Massachusetts Biotechnology Education Foundation. Thirty-one companies sponsored the event, and another 26 organizations donated auction items.

The team sponsored by Phillips DiPisa included Kevin Carroll of Phillips DiPisa, Nigel Gaymond of Gaymond International, Dan Tully of Conduit Systems, and Jerry Alderman of International Insurance Group.
The BioTeach program, launched in 2005, has developed highly engaging labs that teach core concepts while exposing students to biotechnology practices, providing students with an opportunity to see how the science they learn in the classroom is used by academic researchers, drug development companies, and even law enforcement. Since its launch, the BioTeach program has held 19 workshops, training 341 science teachers from 113 schools. The MassBioEd Foundation has provided customized laboratory kits to all 113 schools, and provided $3,748,925 in equipment and reagent grants.
