Iatria Spa And Health Center Hosts Glow For A Cure

(PRLEAP.COM) RALEIGH, N.C. – Erika Mangrum, president of Iatria Spa and Health Center, has announced that the company will co-host “Glow for a Cure” with WakeMed Health & Hospitals as part of the “Passionately Pink for the Cure” campaign to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure breast cancer research foundation. The event will feature silent and live auctions on Tuesday, Oct. 11 from 6-8 p.m. at 8020 Creedmoor Road. Iatria will be auctioning single services and three spa packages. Other auction items include donations by Oliver Twist Tapas Restaurant & Martini Lounge, The Matthew’s House, Kristen’s Shoe Boutique, O2 Fitness, WakeMed Health and Hospitals, A Distinctive Image, and Allergan Inc., the makers of Botox® Cosmetic. A medical professional will be present to discuss the prevention and detection of breast cancer. An after-party immediately following the event will be held at Oliver Twist, located at 8111-137 Creedmoor Road, and will feature pink drink specials, free appetizers and live music.

To participate in the auction, attendees must bring something pink to the event. All of the pink items will be donated to the Women’s Center of Wake County.
