Penny Sports Adds Expanded Coverage of High School Sports Videos Online

October 06, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Sports News
Penny Sports, a division of Penny Entertainment, LLC, now has archived sporting events from 22 school Districts, mostly in North Texas, but as far reaching as Amarillo. With new events being added daily even more districts are getting coverage.

Game coverage is much more complete than simple clips submitted by viewers. The complete telecasts include commentary and play by play action. The archived events may be fast forwarded to any part of the game the viewer is most interest in seeing or they may watch the game in its entirety. The districts currently covered by Penny Entertainment are; Arlington ISD, Duncanville ISD, Desoto ISD, Cedar Hill ISD, Burleson ISD, Fort Worth ISD, Mansfield ISD, Irving ISD, Garland ISD, Dallas ISD, HEB ISD, Midlothian ISD, Corsicana ISD, Waxahachie ISD, Amarillo ISD, Lewisville ISD, Plano ISD, Mesquite ISD, Ennis ISD, Red Oak ISD, Lancaster ISD, and Grand Prairie ISD. Most games include audio and video on demand.

The MasterLink Group, a Dallas web site design and development company, designed the new web site. Penny Entertainment wanted athletes names to be searchable by search engines like Google and Yahoo so MasterLink ensured that the new design was developed with search engines in mind. The new site design is "search engine friendly" and will enable the search engines to read the athletes’ names from the rosters on the site.

Kindel Coren the president of Penny Entertainment stated, "Now our students can be located by recruiters who may have an interest in approaching students for College play, by doing a simple Internet search. We hear from alumni all the time that like to show their friends and family their days on the court or field. We’re excited to be a leader in High School Sports by bringing this feature to our players."
