Something that Daniel says is an essential part of his site. “I did a search for a cat on the internet’s biggest pet rescue site and everyone had this small classified ad for that pet with flashing banners and advertisements everywhere.” That is when Daniel decided it was time for a change. “I can see putting advertisements on the main page and sub-pages, but when you click on a pet you are looking for, pet information needs to be seen, and not what is playing at the movies.”

But don’t let that simplicity make you think that’s all YourLostPets.Com is about. Daniel also says that his website is about pets and their owners. It’s a site for all pets; Dogs, Cats, Birds, Horses, Rabbits, and Reptiles. If it’s a pet, you can create a profile of them. YourLostPets.Com is not just for lost pets, “hence its name.” It’s for found pets and pets in need of adoption. Breeders of pets can also create a profile of their pets they are selling to a good home. YourLostPets.Com also has some extra features such as live chat, forum, blog and photo gallery.

YourLostPets.Com does charges a small nominal fee for posting a pet profile of which the first one hundred pet profiles are free, with non profit groups and animal shelter always being free. “We wanted to give back to the pet community” Says Daniel. But anyone who just loves pets can visit the sight for its free chat, forum, blog and photo gallery and wealth of useful information, without all those distractions.
