FONTANA, Calif. – Wingstop, a fast-growing, chicken wing franchise known for cooked-to-order wings, continues its California expansion with the opening of its first Fontana, California location, Oct. 4.

To celebrate, Kathy and Drew Stamps of Wingstop Fontana-South will host grand opening festivities on Saturday, Oct. 6 at their store, located in Sierra Plaza at 10650 Sierra Ave., Ste. C. The event will feature sumo wrestling, 99.1 KGGI celebrities and live broadcasting, a car show, clowns that do face painting, balloon animals and tricks, giveaways and much more.

Wingstop’s signature bone-in chicken wings and boneless wing strips are prepared fresh and are available in nine proprietary flavors. Both types of wings are made-to-order and there are no heat lamps, microwaves or holding bins in the store. Side dishes are made from scratch and prepared daily in each location. Party platters are available for catered events such as office parties, family gatherings and sporting events.

“We’re really happy to be open and serving this community,” said Kathy. “We hope everyone makes it by for the grand opening or sometime real soon.”

The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to midnight daily. To contact the new Wingstop or to place take out orders, call 909-822-WING (9464).

About Wingstop:
Wingstop offers restaurants with a nostalgic, aviation-themed atmosphere where the sole focus is on chicken wings.
