Chico/CA, USA -- BRADLEY AEROSPACE has shipped its first group of aircraft kits since launching the redesigned Aerobat.
(
PRLEAP.COM) The new kit represents a leap forward from the model sold for the last 17 years. The new kit will build quicker due to a reduced parts count, pre-punched wing skins, CNC-programmed and laser-cut 2024 T3 skins, exclusive one piece extruded spar and one piece ribs. In addition, the redesigned control system is on bearings and features torque tubes for the elevator and ailerons and dual certified shielded cables for the rudder.
With other kits on the market, you could spend weeks unpacking and inventorying pieces; within 2 hours the Aerobat is unpacked and counted. The illustrated 27 page manual covers the entire building process. With new streamlined production, kit lead time is down to 4 weeks from deposit receipt to entire kit shipment.
Some of the features and benefits of the Aerobat are the superior airframe strength (+/- 9g’s), quality of materials (all 2024 T3 alclad), speed and economy of the building experience(150 hours), great “fighter type” looks and control feel, and roomy cabin (one Greenbay, Wisconsin Aerobat owner is 6’7”, 290 lbs with room to spare). The kit comes complete with canopy, composite pressure engine cowl, wheels, tires and brakeS, etc.
The kits come in both Experimental (18 ft wing span) and LSA (24 ft wing span)models.
The company is currently offering an introductory special that includes a complete Bradley Aerobat kit with a 1600 cc long block engine for $9999.00 USD. The standard Price for a kit less engine is $11,700.00 USD.
