More Than 2,000 Exquisite Full-Color Illustrations From Award Winning Thieme Atlas of Anatomy Series Now Available on DVD
(PRLEAP.COM) New York/Stuttgart - Thieme Publishers is pleased to announce that the Thieme Atlas of Anatomy Image Collection: Neck and Internal Organs as well as Thieme Atlas of Anatomy Image Collection: Head and Neuroanatomy are both available on DVD. The remarkable DVD releases elevate the already high level obtained by the Thieme Atlas of Anatomy Series, bringing an additional dimension to the acclaimed reference guides.
As the DVDs are organized according to the table of contents, and feature all of the exquisite full-color illustrations from the original atlas, it is ideal for use in conjunction with the books. Within the user-friendly DVD, practitioners, researchers, and faculty members will find invaluable illustrations for their lectures and presentations. Illustrations can be accessed either via the table of contents or a search function.
Each image is importable to a presentation program such as PowerPoint. Users are able to utilize an illustration with or without labeling and captions. They also have the ability to choose between high and low resolution when presenting digital images. While a low resolution is recommended for presentations, a higher resolution is recommended to fully display the details of an enlarged illustration. Both DVDs are compatible with the Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
Earlier this year, the Thieme Atlas of Anatomy: Neck and Internal Organs was the recipient of a 2007 Benjamin Franklin Award. This is the second year in a row that the Thieme Atlas of Anatomy Series has been honored by the Independent Book Publishers Association.
