Thompson & Knight Attorney Named Chairman of the Board of Dallas Heritage Village

Dallas (October 7, 2007) – Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce James B. Harris has been named Chairman of the Board of Dallas Heritage Village. His one-year term began at the Village’s annual meeting on September 27, 2007.

Harris is a Partner in the Firm’s Dallas office who focuses his practice on regulatory litigation and counseling, including environmental matters. Harris' environmental litigation expertise includes cost-recovery actions, enforcement actions, contested permits, bankruptcy claims, regulation challenges, debarment proceedings, and criminal actions. He is actively involved in numerous professional and civic organizations, including serving on the Board of Trustees for the Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, Inc. and formerly the Board of Directors for the Mental Health Association of Dallas.
