"The Master of Murder" a Hole in One for Student Exchange Programs

PITTSBURGH, PA, October 11, 2007 - What do golf, the blending of cultures and murder have in common? Charles Pero, that is. Pero, a mystery thriller author of Lake Worth Florida and heralded as "The Master of Murder" will sponsor a hole at the sister cities of Delray Beach golf outing entitled "The Mayors' Challenge" this weekend.

The challenge which will be held on Saturday, October 13th at Delray Beach Golf Club will benefit the student exchange programs of Delray Beach. The golf competition is for both men and women with prizes awarded to the top competitors or teams.

Pero's books are based on serial killers because they are the most interesting and complex type of killer which fulfill his writing needs as a storyteller. Four books under The Twisted Killer Series have awarded Pero his own imprint entitled Pero Thrillers with SterlingHouse Publisher, Inc. Pero's first book The Maze Murderer has given him international attention.

When asked why he decided to sponsor a hole coined "Charles Pero "The Master of Murder"" Pero stated, "I've always enjoyed golf and my helping out my city," he continued, "I also think that the exchange program enhances education for our residents in a multi-faceted way; they combine cultures, languages, and a friendly environment where everyone can learn from one another. This is a small way in which I can be a part of the event even though I cannot physically be there."
