Jordan Health Systems Appoints President & CEO

Phillips DiPisa, a retained executive search firm serving healthcare providers, managed care organizations, and life sciences firms, today announced that it has completed an executive search assignment for Jordan Health Systems.

Jordan Health Systems (JHSI), located in Plymouth, Massachusetts, hired Peter J. Holden as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Phillips DiPisa led the search on behalf of JHSI. Mr. Holden will report to the hospital’s Board of Directors, and will be responsible for the overall strategic direction and leadership of healthcare services at JSHI.

Mr. Holden is a seasoned healthcare executive who brings thirty years of leadership experience gained within community hospital, health system, and consulting environments. For the past eight years, he has held executive positions within the Caritas Christi Health Care System, the second largest healthcare system in Massachusetts. Most recently, Peter served as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Methuen-based Caritas Holy Family Hospital, a 285-bed acute care hospital, until his resignation in late 2006.

Mr. Holden received a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies at Georgetown University in Washington, DC in 1976. He later earned a Master in Hospital Administration at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1994.

JHSI, a not-for-profit corporation, was formed in 1985 to provide overall coordination and direction for the activities conducted by its affiliate organizations, including Jordan Hospital. Other affiliates include Jordan Ambulatory Health Care; Jordan Health Foundation; and Jordan Physician Associates, the Hospital’s physician group. The health system and its affiliates are devoted to the health and medical needs of the community and offer a full range of medical/surgical and community-based services.
