Cambridge City Council Customer Access Strategy investment includes new contract for IDOX plc

IDOX plc (AIM : IDOX), the information management company specialising in the development and delivery of software products, services and people principally to the public sector, today announces the signing of a major five year contract worth £500k for an electronic document and records management system (EDRMS) contract with Cambridge City Council. This contract is one of the largest awarded to IDOX and further evidences the growing sales opportunities from the combined IDOX and CAPS Solutions businesses.

IDOX Software will be implemented across Cambridge City Council in a phased approach commencing immediately. The lead department will be Revenues and Benefits and thereafter implementations will take place in the Customer Service Centre, City Services and Housing.

Cambridge City Council will use the IDOX Software solution to reconfigure the way services are provided to its customers by making services more joined up and more effective thereby improving further its already excellent CPA rating.

This contract was won after an extensive EU open tender evaluation and referencing process.
