(PRLEAP.COM) Genoa, IL—OCTOBER, 2007 Brian Mullins released his first major collection of poetry today, titled Authentic Perplexity in conjunction with Lulu (www.lulu.com), the world’s fastest-growing provider of print-on-demand books.
Authentic Perplexity is compilation of poems ranging from the experience of betrayal, new marriage, being a step father, house husband, watching his new born daughter grow, and interacting with a step family. Journey with him through his poetry and unique photography as he attempts to explain his journey and answer the last genuine question.
Brian Mullins wrote Authentic Perplexity to help himself work through the emotions of being remarried, dealing with a new family, and the birth of his new daughter. When dealing with new social issues of moving from a rural area to the much more congested Chicago-land region, the poetry began to reflect those issues. Brian Mullins is a graduate of Mountain Empire College with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He has a Electrical License and 10 years of Experience as a Commercial Electrician. He spent most of his time ignoring his writing ability. After a rough divorce and a bout with depression, he began to write again, and began compiling a new set of poems. Authentic Perplexity was born out of those questions, as he sought answers to them. Now he spends his time as a Freelance Photographer and Writer. He is published in several Anthologies and Magazines, including “Photography Vibes” and “Epiphany”.
