Brooklyn Fashion Week{end} Flaunts Elected Elite, Couture Designers, And Crowning Partners.

This year’s Brooklyn Fashion Week{end} Circus Couture showcase proves to have all the right ingredients for success. High-profile elected officials, top-notch sponsors and seasoned designers have fashionably assembled to support the Spring/Summer 2008 collections and surrounding events. Generously endorsed by Brooklyn Borough President, Marty Markowitz and his office, Councilwoman Letitia James, and the DUMBO Improvement District, BK Fashion Week{end} will launch Friday, October 19th, and run consecutively through Sunday, October 21st, at the Tobacco Warehouse, a 19th century landmark on the banks of the East River, in Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park. This beautiful location is being provided to us courtesy of The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, and the Natural Heritage Trust.
