Don’t You Become An Empty Nose Victim! by Christopher Martin, released on August 30th, hit as high as #2 in the category “Otolaryngology” on Amazon.com on October 10th – a mere 41 days after its release. This book has been among the top 100 Otolaryngology books on Amazon in recent weeks, suggesting it is creating some buzz in the medical community.
Having Nasal Surgery? recently enjoyed a glowing review done by the Editor-in-Chief of Midwest Book Review, Mr. Jim Cox. Midwest Book Review is a reputable reviewer of books and reviews about one-third of the 1,500 books it receives each month, prefers to review books by small presses, and it has a roster of 81 reviewers. According to Mr. Cox, “An ENS sufferer himself, Christopher Martin has written a comprehensive and thoroughly ‘reader friendly’ introduction to what ENS is, what can be done about it, and what to be aware of in various treatment options…Christopher relates his own personal account of coping with ENS, offers an informed and informative evaluation of turbinate surgeries with respect to nasal conditions, provides an ‘insider’ look at the politics surrounding ENS within the medical community, and identifies the best treatments for ENS, many of which are also efficaciously applicable to sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, postnasal drip, GERD, and asthma.” He continued, “Invaluable reading for medical students, physicians, and non-specialist general readers, Having Nasal Surgery? is especially recommended for personal, professional, and community library Health & Medicine reference collections and reading lists.”
