Release of Spatial Effects Live At Pentz Street Station CD
(PRLEAP.COM) Buckeye Ridge Recordings announces the release of Spatial Effects Live at Pentz Street Station.
Spatial Effects, one of the bluegrass music world’s more unusual bands, recently put the finishing engineering touches on their Live At Pentz Street Station - new album. Released October12, 2007, the album was recorded live on August 17th in Dalton, GA at Pentz Street Station, a coffee house owned and operated by Bill Bowen.
Live At Pentz Street Station features original songs contributed by the band’s members, along with unique and “spatial” arrangements of traditional gospel songs. Spatial Effects has made a name for itself in the region with its tight vocal harmonies and the many off-the-wall songs that are included in the band’s performance. Two of the band’s members, David Crawford and Thomas Brown, have participated in the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Songwriter Showcase in 2003 and 2004. Brown was selected again in 2006 and 2007.
