KIVA CAFÉ WELCOMES haru® JEWELRY

(PRLEAP.COM) haru® is Kiva Café’s latest artistic attraction and will be available for purchase beginning in November through December. On November 1st, Kiva owner Beebe Okoye will host a celebratory fete at the café, during which customers will have the opportunity to purchase stunning pieces from the spring and fall 2007 collections, place holiday orders and meet with haru’s founder and designer, Felicia Gray.

Kiva Café aims to offer a “serene and relaxing atmosphere that…..nourishes body and sense” while also providing “an opportunity for the artists to display their work and eventually sell them.” Okoye, who happened upon Gray’s work at a Brooklyn Arts festival, says she opted to feature haru® because “it was pretty, sophisticated, nice quality and a good match for my customers.”

ABOUT haru®
The Japanese meaning for “spring,” haru® launched in 2004 and has quickly established itself as the premiere destination for unique, stylish jewelry.

haru® offers a wide variety of hand-crafted, custom-designed and collection pieces that merge classic and contemporary styles using semi-precious and precious gemstones, vintage glass and sterling silver. The collection includes necklaces, earrings, bracelets rings and chokers that are flattering, feminine and speak to the individual personalities of the women who wear them.

Notable clients include Essence magazine Editorial Director Susan Taylor, PR wiz Terrie Williams and Time Inc. CEO Ann Moore, who commissions pieces regularly. Time Inc. editors have worn haru® during appearances on the NBC Today Show and FOX Morning News. Most recently, haru’s tourmaline and sterling silver “Urs” earrings are featured in the “Instant Style” section of InStyle’s October issue, marking the jewelry line’s fourth appearance in the popular fashion magazine.
