Oregon's guitar sensation releases debut album with rock quartet October 16, 2007

The Justin King Band, the rock quartet founded in 2004 by renowned guitarist Justin King, have released their debut album on their own label entitled Justin King and the Apologies. The band will be touring the nation throughout the fall in support of the release.

“ Justin King is without question one of the most gifted musicians I have ever met. He’s not only one of the most influential guitarists on the scene today- He is a singularly important and exciting artist and I believe it’s only a matter of time before music fans around the world come to appreciate his music as much as I have.”
~ Daniel Davis, A&R, Atlantic Records

Hailing from Eugene, Oregon, the Justin King Band consists of guitarist/singer/songwriter Justin King, bass player Drew Dresman, guitarist Chris Lindbergh and drummer Nadir Jeevanjee. Their memorable melodies include elements of King’s unique, tapping acoustic guitar, soulful lyrics and dense layers of high-energy rock and roll.

The new LP features 12 songs written by Justin. Producers on the album include Ron Aniello (Lifehouse, Guster, Barenaked Ladies) and Rob Schnapf (Beck, the Foo Fighters), plus six of the tracks were mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Chris Isaac, Fleetwood Mac). The album also features four videos for the songs: Same Mistakes, Bright & Dirty Lights, Bailing the Titanic and a solo performance on Justin's custom made doubleneck guitar.

“Justin King’s songs are layer-after-layer of musical savvy soaking with sophistication, it is no wonder that each show amasses a collection of wobbly-kneed, speechless, star-struck fans."
