Raleigh Public Relations Society Hosts “Reinventing Your Brand” Luncheon

RALEIGH, N.C. (Oct. 18, 2007) – The Raleigh Public Relations Society (RPRS) will present an interactive luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 23 to explore the topic, “Reinventing Your Brand.” Guest speakers are Barbara Petty, publisher of Boom! Magazine, and Tom Matthews, regional media relations manager for Embarq. The speakers have each managed major rebranding projects for their respective companies. They will discuss the reasons, challenges and factors to consider when preparing to create and launch a new organizational brand identity.

The luncheon will take place from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bogart’s in downtown Raleigh. Public relations professionals are welcome to attend. Participants are encouraged to RSVP via e-mail to Kelly Hubbard, hospitality chair at kelly@largemouthpr.com by Friday, Oct. 19. Reservations are needed to ensure that adequate seating is available. Cost to attend is $12 for members and $20 for guests and is payable at the door. The cost includes lunch and the speaker presentation.
