Atlanta, GA – Meca Rich, CEO of Rich Trucking & Logistics, the youngest and only African American female to own her own logistics and transportation company simultaneously, recently founded the Black Truckers Association, the first and only of its kind. Our mission is to enhance the professional development of African American truck drivers across the nation.

The Black Truckers Association, allows people to voice their opinions, their success as well as their struggles in the transportation arena. The BTA strives to educate everyone on the achievements and contributions of African Americans in the transportation industry from past to present.

The Black Truckers Association goal is to unite African Americans and people of all nationalities in the industry to iron out issues of race, discrimination and sexual harassment.

The BTA will kick off its First Annual Red & Black charity event in December, location TBA, in which the proceeds will go towards the “Get Back To Work Program,” giving felons a second chance at work and an opportunity to provide for their families.
