(PRLEAP.COM) Steve Dercks has joined Bassett Mechanical as a water technology specialist to develop the company’s expanding water treatment capabilities. He will manage Bassett’s authorized distributorship of GE Water Technologies for commercial buildings and small and medium industrial facilities. Through the distributorship, Bassett customers will receive advantages of the GE Water chemical and equipment product lines, along with the technical service and support resources of both Bassett Mechanical and GE.

Dercks has more than 20 years of experience in water process chemistry and sales. Prior to joining Bassett, he was a regional sales manager with Voith-Fibron. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University.
