The Florida Direct Marketing Association (FDMA) is hosting an October 25th luncheon designed to give professional service providers—including lawyers, accountants, and consultants—the keys to building a practice or generating referrals through direct marketing. Margaret Grisdela, President of Legal Expert Connections, and Ellen Bristol, President of Bristol Strategy Group, will present “10 Tips for Marketing Business Professional Services.” The monthly luncheon will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at the Westin Hotel on Cypress Creek Road and I-95 in Fort Lauderdale from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public. Registration and networking begins at 11:30 a.m., followed by the lunch and presentation at noon. The cost to attend is $37 for members, $46 for non-members. Attendees are encouraged to register online at www.fdma.org in advance and save $10 over walk-up registration.

“Many professional service providers are technically proficient, but poorly trained in the process of attracting prospects and converting them to clients,” said marketing consultant Margaret Grisdela. “We will offer guidance on how to target the right clients, with an emphasis on creating the right message to distinguish your firm from the competition,” adds sales expert Ellen Bristol, developer of “Selling the SMART Way®.”
