Johnny Ray’s BBQ is an Alabama based restaurant chain established in 1954 by founder Johnny Ray. The franchise operations are now being run by Johnny Ray’s daughter Dee Wood. Dee has continued her father’s tradition of serving the best quality food with the quickness of a fast food restaurant while being able to preserve the recipes and cooking process Johnny Ray established in 1954. Johnny Ray’s is known throughout the country for its incredible BBQ, sauces, and still serves pies made from recipes created by Johnny Ray’s beloved wife.

Currently there are 7 franchise owned Johnny Ray’s restaurants throughout Alabama.
