New Condo Hotel to Open in Orlando across the Street from Universal Orlando®
(PRLEAP.COM) Hayes Reid Development, a leader in Condo Hotel Sales and Marketing in Central Florida, has announced it will open its third full service condo hotel in Central Florida. The new project, named The Palms Hotel and Suites, located across the street from Universal Orlando®, will include 134 fully furnished one and two bedroom units. The property features a fitness center, business center, signature restaurant, pool, game room and convention meeting space.
The company is excited about its new location, which will provide free scheduled shuttle service for guests to Universal Orlando® and Sea World theme parks. “Our goal is to provide the best property location at a fair market price to our owners,” stated Tom Hayes, Company CEO. This philosophy has been a marketing strategy of the company, whose other properties were located within 1.5 miles of the entrance of Disney World. “What we want is a high occupancy location, which is required for the success of any condo hotel property”, reported Tom Hayes.
The company has begun renovation of the property which will include new granite countertops and upgraded room décor. The units currently enjoy the features of full kitchens, large flat screen TVs, separate sleeping and living facilities and daily maid service. Our interior Design staff is undertaking the task to redecorate the units which will ensure owner and guest satisfaction.
Hayes Reid Development continues to enjoy the success of condo hotel developments in the marketplace. While some feel the condo hotels industry is a new concept, this is a misperception. “Hotel-Condominiums have been around in Europe since the 1960’s and have been widely received as a viable industry,” Tom Hayes related. “What is important is to ensure the location is a strong tourism or convention traffic area—the basis for a successful operation,” he concluded. The markets of Miami, Orlando, Manhattan, Chicago, Las Vegas, San Diego, Los Angeles and San Diego meet that requirement.
Rounding out the expansion, Hotel Condo Services, LLC. has been chosen to manage the property. Mark Manring, Principle of HCS, has a strong team that has been successfully managing condo hotel properties throughout Florida. “We only select properties which will meet the occupancy requirements of the owners”, Mark related. “This is why we have seen continuous growth in our company and projects.”
Sales for the units are in the reservation stage, while renovation continues. Both the developer and management company are providing incentives to the buyers, who will have possession of the units in January, 2008. Prices will start in the low $200,000 for the one bedroom units. More information can be found by visiting the property website at www.condohoteluniversal.com.
