RadioSherpa Widget Tags HD Radio Broadcasts for Apple Users

(PRLEAP.COM) RadioSherpa (www.radiosherpa.com), a company that continues to be on the forefront of new HD Radio applications, announced today the release of a new widget for your Apple Dashboard. The RadioSherpa widget automatically tags all your favorite radio broadcasts so that you can quickly find and listen to your favorite song or program. The widget allows users to further refine their search by customizing its real-time station guide by genre or city.

"Bringing RadioSherpa to the Apple Dashboard has always been a top priority for us", said Sasha Javid, co-founder of RadioSherpa. "Apple users have come to expect applications that are both intuitive and entertaining. The RadioSherpa widget with its real-time tagging capability allows users to quickly review a list of music playing on their favorite stations and then stream it. If the user decides that he/she that he would like to buy the song, a single-click will bring the user directly to that iTunes download."

The number of HD Radio stations across the country is now approaching 1500 stations. Many of the new HD2 stations are commercial-free and are playing music not heard on traditional radio. RadioSherpa is facilitating bringing this new music to people around the country.
