(PRLEAP.COM) Good Food in Mexico City: A Guide to Food Stalls, Fondas and Fine Dining, by Nicholas Gilman, has won the Gourmand World Cookbook award as “Best Guide of 2007”, announced Edouard Cointreau, president of Gourmand, in a ceremony at the Olympia Theatre in London, April 13th. The awards ceremony was held in conjuction with the London Book Fair.

Good Food in Mexico City, published by iUniverse and available at all online booksellers, is the first comprehensive dining out guide to Mexico City written in English (a French edition, La Bonne Bouffe á Mexico is also available). In recent years Mexico’s capital has become a popular destination for travelers seeking authentic and traditional cuisine.
