International Blues Challenge Southern California Regional Competitions
(PRLEAP.COM) As an affiliate of The Blues Foundation the Southern California Blues Society is proud to be a part of this effort to keep the blues alive and to also recognize the great talent we have right here in our own region, which as you know includes the 2004 IBC winner, Zac Harmon & the Mid-South Blues Revue. This year’s winning band will go on to compete in the IBC finals which will be held January, 26-28th, 2006 in Memphis.The IBC Southern California Regional Competitions will be held on consecutive Wednesday nights during the month of October at Cozy’s Bar & Grill located at 14058 Ventura Blvd. in Sherman Oaks: http://www.blues-fest.com/reviews-blues/address.aspx?linlid=1239&country=usa
The competition is open to the public. Please support bands and efforts to keep the blues alive! Wednesday, October 5th Bands include: The Barnburners, Toni Dodd & Soutbound Blues, Chicos Bailbonds, Aunt Kizzy’s Boyz, Pamela G, and The Forty-Fours. The finals will be on Wednesday, October 26th, 2006.
