Daniel Corby, CEO 118 Group plans to revultionise the way people buy and sell used cars in the UK
(PRLEAP.COM) The fast growing 118 Group, based in Essex, United Kingdon built by founder and CEO Daniel Corby has big plans for the launch of Car Auto - it’s latest acquisiton which plans to change the way we buy and sell cars in the UK.
Daniel Corby said "the used car market in the UK is huge, with around 8 million cars sold every year. The majority of private sales are advertised in local and regional newspapers and motoring magazines, none of which seem to offer great value, and some offer little success when it comes to actually getting the car sold. Car Auto is a web based product, which will offer free advertising to car dealer groups, have cross sell opportunities into Finance, Insurance, Warranties and Accessories but will make its money through selling advertising space to Joe Public, seeking to sell his used car. For one simple fee, the car will be advertised until sold, which offers a major unique selling point over and above local newspapers and most motoring magazines, which typically charge £50 for 2 weeks exposure, with no guarantee of success. In a recent survey by 118 Group, we found that most people spend £140 selling their car. We aim to launch our product at around £69 and this will include free breakdown cover for the next car you are purchasing. We’ll also actively match buyers to sellers, through e-mail and SMS technology, so when your car is uploaded to our website, we’ll e-mail and sms interested parties already registered with us to notify them your car matches their needs"
Car Auto will be launched in September 2006 and promoted through National advertising campaigns handlded by Rathbone Media. The brand will be created by Flying Saucer Marketing.
