Music Alert: New jam Session Platform launched
(PRLEAP.COM) August 2007: First real jam session plattform "jambassador.com" has been launched.On www.jambassador.com ("The First Online Jam Session Community") musicians can hold jam sessions with other musicians from various musical backgrounds and genres. The way it works is pretty simple - but clever and fun: A musician, let’s say from the UK, starts a new song projects, beginning with the recording of an audio channel making it available online. Now a second musician from, let’s say Japan, jams along and records and uploads her audio channel to that song. When time goes by, more and more musicians upload their audio channels from various instruments and genres, so that a completely new song and style is created.
And with the "Jambassador Drag&Drop Player", you can add and mute all single audio channels from one song project while listening to it. Meaning: you can create/mix your favourite instruments together and get another completely individual song!
It’s fun and also a full source of inspiration for new song projects and influences from other music styles for musicians and other music people.
So musicians do not have to rehearse alone in the dark anymore! With today’s date they can jam together with musicians from all over the world and have fun experimenting with new music styles.
