Clark is one of two Community Relations representatives selected by Horace Tart, who represents Garner, Fuquay-Varina and parts of Holly Springs on the Wake County Board of Education.

Clark, who is very active in the community with a focus on education, was named Volunteer of the Year by the Garner Chamber of Commerce. She is currently serving her second term as both chair of the Garner Business Alliance and as the Education Committee chair for the Garner Chamber.
