The Ft. Lauderdale show officially opens its doors on the 25th of October and runs through until the 29th. The Catamaran Company is renowned for its great booth and show presence in the past, so we are determined to put out our absolute best this year.

Show setup is scheduled for Wednesday, October 24th and with so much left to do, The Catamaran Company is humming with activity.

Our service department announced Friday that the Lagoon 500 made a safe return from the Annapolis show and will be ready for display. The Privilege 395, also coming from Annapolis, was still a few days away however they are confident that it should arrive in time. The remainder of our exhibiting yachts – including the TomCat 9.7, Lagoon 420, 440, Power Cat 43, Horizon 64, and Caribe 65 – are all locally docked so it’s just a matter of getting them washed, waxed and dressed before the coordinated delivery to our display dock off of Las Olas.

The booth arrangement this year follows last year’s model to a “T”, T-Dock that is. The covered entrance walkway will be funneling most of the traffic onto the extended floating dock, with Lagoon America’s tent on the right and CatCo’s booth directly opposite that. Catamarans are adjacent to each of the display tents, fully rigged, floating and really just inviting you to step onboard.

If you’re thinking about buying a boat, this is the place to start. There will definitely be a little something for everyone. Big catamarans, little catamarans, sail, power, live-a-boards, anything and everything you can imagine. All of which are available for private ownership or charter income programs.

On the charter side of things, Joann Higgins will be flying in from Tortola this week to assist attendees with their sailing vacation interests. She is looking forward to sharing the fantastic show specials currently running as well as the announcement of our new charter base which recently opened in Catham Bay, Union Island.

Over the last 28 years, The Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show, sponsored by Ginn Sur Mer, has established itself as the premier Boat Show for Florida, and a must attend event for boating enthusiasts from all corners of the world. If you have a passion for the cruising lifestyle, please join us October 25th – 29th!
