Combaton the Martial Arts Team Sport headquartered in Central Florida was featured as a demonstration sport Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the Disney Martial Arts Festival in Orlando.

The Ninja, a team based in Spring Hill, Fl, conducted demonstrations outside of the Milk House at the Wide World of Sports at intervals during the day. Brian Schneider, Josh Stechenfinger and Seth McKinley, all black belts in Tae Kwon Do, clearly enjoyed themselves while displaying their skills. Several members of the audience joined in also.

Meanwhile, Lake Mary's team, the Samurai, worked as officials inside. Later, CJ Vickers and Gabe Allen joined the spirited play still wearing their officiating suits. All in good fun, the DJ outside kept up a running banter asking if Combaton was the team sport where one team wears uniforms and the other wears suits. Competitors entering the venue for the evening events were entertained in a festival atmosphere between rain showers.

Combaton is a team sport with similarities to football requiring good over-all conditioning as well as excellent kicking skills. There is a mixed martial arts component of the game incorporating grappling as well.
