Shaolin Weng Chun Grand Master First Ever Seminar in England

On Saturday 10th November the English Weng Chun schools are opening their doors to the successor of the system, Grand Master Andreas Hoffmann. German born GM Hoffmann is the chief instructor and holder of the system is arriving in London, England to give a two days seminar to his English students.

Chi Sim Weng Chun Kung Fu is an old Chinese martial art system. The system is based on the Chan/Zen Buddhism philosophy. There are only 2 Chi Sim Weng Chun schools in England. But it has thousands of practitioners all over Europe, mainly in Denmark and Germany. In England the schools have been going for nearly a year and have over 30 students. On Saturday 10th November the English Weng Chun schools are opening their doors to the successor of the system, Grand Master Andreas Hoffmann. The main topic of the seminar is Fa Kuen (Flower Fist) form, Fa Kuen Chi Sao, Fa Kuen Kiu Sao and Fa Kuen Sparring. For those who don't know what Fa Kuen (Flower Fist) is. The flower is the symbol of the Sim (Chan/Zen) philosophy and the body work of Weng Chun Kuen and Fa Kuen was made famous by Grandmaster Chu Chung Man. This set teaches how to use the entire body for both long and short distance fighting. In the Weng Chun family there are different versions of Fa Kuen: short versions, long versions and even different sets with the name Fa Kuen.
