“I’M A COWBOY “ BY ROYAL WADE KIMES DEBUTS AT #1
ON POWERSOURCE MAGAZINE WESTERN CHART

(NASHVILLE,TN) — “I’m a Cowboy” by Country and Western
music icon Royal Wade Kimes has debuted at number one on the Power Source
Magazine Western Chart. The chart will be published in the July 2005 issue
of the magazine. “I’m a Cowboy,” which was not released as a single, appears on Kimes’ critically
acclaimed “Cowboy Cool” album.
According to Kimes, “We sent the album out to Western radio stations,
but had no idea this song would come up on top. The radio stations liked
this song, pulled it on their own and the listeners responded with a lot of
enthusiasm.” A two time winner of the Academy of Western Artist’s ( AWA )
Will Rogers Award, Kimes is a platinum hit songwriter who has worked with Garth
Brooks, Diamond Rio, Gene Watson and many more. “Cowboy Cool” was voted one
of the top 10 CDs of 2004 and continues to receive excellent reviews from
publications like True West Magazine and Country Music People.
