MWCURTCO's The Practical Vegetarian Makes Life Easier With Revamped Website

MWCURTCO.COM will be upgrading its popular vegetarian website, The Practical Vegetarian, during the next two weeks as a result of suggestions from its readers to make the site easier to navigate and also to provide requested information and instruction. The improvements will "give a better look and feel to the website," according to owner M. L. Curtis. "The upgrades will smooth out navigation" which will "save our readers time," she says. Also on the list of improvements will be "key changes" to how content is displayed. "There will be more instructional video and text," an internal search feature, and pull-down menus, Curtis says.

The Practical Vegetarian provides news, information, recipes, and updates for vegetarians and also those who want to reduce their fat and cholesterol "by eating like a vegetarian," according to Curtis. It currently carries free recipe downloads, instructional videos on food preparation, and updated information on diet, health, and lifestyle. The improvements, says Curtis, will "streamline" the site while at the same time "provide greater detail than ever before," says the site's owner.

"We're making these improvements to help our readers save their time and also because we're responding to their requests for information they seek," Curtis says. "Since a lot more people now are able to view video on their computers, we're going to make more free video recipe instruction available along with alternate text download so readers can get the information they want quickly."

Curtis says that during the upgrade, readers will "not miss out" on the information they enjoy which has made the website popular. "When readers click on the website, they will be actually able to see the changes as they are happening," Curtis says. But in addition, "there will also be a link there to our new blog site" where, according to Curtis, all information currently on the main site "will also be available for our readers," she says.
If you have any suggestions or input, or would like further information, Curtis says e-mail your requests to webmaster@mwcurtco.com
