HOLLY HILL, FLA., NOVEMBER 14, 2007: The Axxess NIRD-01 interface for the 2007-2008 Nissan Maxima and Sentra allows retention of the vehicles’ factory Bluetooth features and driver information display with the installation of an aftermarket head unit.

The Axxess NIRD-01 includes a wired keypad to operate the driver information display, plus custom keypad mounting inserts for use with Metra’s 99-7421 Maxima or 99-7422 Sentra dash kit (sold separately).

The NIRD-01 also provides a VSS (Speed Sense) signal, a parking brake and a reverse signal to make installing a radio with a navigation system even easier by eliminating the added time the installer would need to find these wires elsewhere in the vehicle.
