US National Telecom (USNT) – Signs Offer for Distribution Rights to Telecom Switch – Switch Sales Projected at $400,000.

November 14, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
November 14, 2007 (Denver, CO) US National Telecom (USNT), a rapidly growing VoIP telecom company, has signed an offer to distribute a well known VoIP telecom switch. The Company has also expressed a desire to invest in that switch company, now known as VoiPSwitch. If an investment was made this would be the second one in 2007 for USNT, the first of which was Vitelity Communications, based in Denver, CO. No agreement has been signed with VoIPSwitch for an investment.

The Company sees a high value in the VoipSwitch technology which allows smaller companies to quickly become VoIP providers. Features of the softswitch include click-to-call, softphones and SIP phones, international call back, call shop, use of global telephone numbers, IVR for calling cards, and wholesale telecom services. It runs on Windows software, opening the market to many entrepreneurs who do not have the expertise to run, or desire to learn, the Linux operating system.

The Company expects to market the switch as “ReadySwitch”, preinstalled on a Dell premium quality server, for under $20,000, a price that is less than half of many competing switch vendors in this class. A key selling feature is that there are no additional per-subscriber or per-channel license fees.

The Company will also offer a hosting plan for the ReadySwitch, including instant access to worldwide voice traffic termination partners. If the Company were able to sell 30 such systems, the sales projections are approximately $400,000 to $500,000 for 2008.

Existing sales of the VoIPSwitch as a software-only product have been very strong. However a serious drawback to date was the lack of a USA-based office and it was not offered as a “plug and play’ switch.
