STRATFORD SUMMER MUSIC ANNOUNCES THOM ALLISON’S LEADING LADIES.

Lucy Peacock, Susan Gilmore and Robin Hutton, all members of the Stratford Festival’s 2005 Company, will be Thom Allison’s leading ladies in his Ladies Night Cabarets at the Church Restaurant in Stratford this year.

Thom Allison, who is performing in Hello, Dolly! and Into the Woods at the Stratford Festival, will combine his considerable talents with those of Festival-favorite Lucy Peacock for the Saturday, July 30 performance. Ms. Peacock, who stars in the leading role in Hello Dolly! as well as Fallen Angels this year and has more than 40 Stratford credits to her name, delights audiences with her talent for both drama and music.

Susan Gilmore, who plays the Witch in this year’s Festival production of Into the Woods, will be Thom Allison’s leading lady on Friday, August 5. Ms. Gilmore has been nominated for a Dora Award and has played on stages from Broadway to Los Angeles.

Thursday, August 11 promises yet another delightful twist, with Robin Hutton sharing the stage this evening. Currently performing as Irene Molloy in Hello, Dolly! and having last appeared at the Festival in Fiddler on the Roof, Robin was recently in Toronto’s Mamma Mia! and Theatre Aquarius’ The Sound of Music.

Stratford Summer Music Cabarets are always popular, with the 11:30pm time slot appealing to theatre-goers and the general public alike. This year, choose from the above performances, or enjoy the talents of Bruce Dow on Thursday, July 28, Wednesday, August 3 and Saturday August 6. On Friday, July 29, Thursday, August 4 and Wednesday, August 10, buddies Dan Chameroy and Jonathon Goad team together for a different take, and the exciting All Stars Finale will be held on Friday, August 12 and Saturday August 13.
