Murrieta's Newest Neighborhood Shopping Center is Under Construction in Riverside County, CA

"The response and interest from the retail community has been overwhelming,” says Scott Burns, vice president of Wilson Commercial Real Estate. “Retailers are extremely bullish about this growing market. We expect to be 100% leased before the project opens.” More than 22,000 new residential units have been approved for construction.

Located at the southeast corner of Scott Road and Interstate 215 Freeway, the 90,000-square-foot Heritage Marketplace is Murrieta's newest neighborhood center and will be anchored by Albertsons/Sav-on and include several pads and a 23,000-square-feet multi-tenant shop buildings.

Tenants include Carl's Jr., Del Taco, Wells Fargo Bank, 7-11 Fuel Station, Tarbell Realtors, UPS Store, It’s A Grind Coffee, Subway, Electrifying Tan, Great Clips, Red Persimmon Nail Salon, Boston Cleaners and Nuevo Dental Group.

“There are still a few restaurant or retail shop space opportunities available ranging in size from 1,137 square feet to 1,950 square feet,” adds Burns.

John Potter of Hughes Investments, the project’s developer is planning a grand opening in October, 2005. Newport Beach based Hughes Investments specializes in the development, redevelopment, management and acquisition of neighborhood and community shopping centers. The company has developed 23 shopping centers located throughout Southern California totaling more than seven million square feet. Hughes Investments expects to break ground on another Albertsons anchored project at the southeast corner of Archibald Avenue and Schleisman Avenue in Riverside County in July 2005.

Primus Contracting Group of Temecula, CA is the general contractor. MCG Architecture of Pasadena, Calif. is the project architect. Wilson Commercial Real Estate is the exclusive landlord representative for Heritage Marketplace.
