Interview With Sunnyvale Real Estate Broker Bobbie Lemberg

November 19, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Sunnyvale, CA – Real estate prices in California and the Bay Area have taken a big hit in the wake of the subprime meltdown. Surprisingly, prices in Sunnyvale remain relatively stable with low inventories and plenty of new contruction activity. Zirana.com had a Q & A session with Bay Area realty broker Bobbie Lemberg, formerly Director of the California Association of Realtors, who has been in the business since 1974 and is a well known and respected figure in the Sunnyvale community.

Asked about her predictions for 2008, Ms. Lemberg said that she sees an oasis of a strong market in Sunnyvale and Cupertino, with multiple offers and good appreciation. In her view, the Central Valley, the Sacramento area, and most of San Jose and communities south of there, like Hollister and Gilroy, will take some time to turn around. She adds that they have many months of inventory, and a stable housing market there is not expected until at least the end of 2008.
