The Management Developers Conference Is Proud to Host the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF) 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Common Information Model (CIM)

Pinehurst, NC - Management Developers Conference (MDC), the only developer conference dedicated to Standards Based System and Network Management Technologies is excited to announce a special reception on Monday, December 3rd to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Common Information Model (CIM).

“DMTF is very proud to honor the Common Information Model standard, as it is a significant milestone for the industry,” said Winston Bumpus, DMTF president and an active driver of CIM development since its inception in 1997. “We are excited to host this special 10-year anniversary celebration at the MDC, where a number of DMTF technologies are highlighted.”

Concurrent with this special reception, DMTF will host the annual Star Awards to honor the hard work of its wmembers. In addition at MDC, DMTF will also provide sessions and activities for other DMTF technologies including the: Common Diagnostic Model (Initiative, Systems Management Architecture for Server Hardware (SMASH) Initiative, Desktop and Mobile Architecture for System Hardware (DASH) Initiative, Web Services for Management (WS-Management), and Virtualization.
