New York City Fashion Gets an Italian Flair at Popular Event

Scopa, the chic Madison Avenue (at 28th Street) restaurant, is the new venue for Andres Aquino's Champagne Fashion Brunch® series. Presented on selected Sunday afternoons, the popular series of fashion shows and delicious brunch, was launched by USA International Fashion Shows® in 2003 as a prelude to Couture Fashion Week®. The series has taken off on its own and continues to expand as a form of entertainment and as a showcase for creative couture and fine fashion and accessories designers from around the world. Located on Manhattan's trendy East Side, Scopa has received rave reviews from The New York Times, NewYorkMetro.com, TimeOut New York, and Zagat's Survey.

The Champagne Fashion Brunch® has been a platform to showcase couture, fine fashion and accessories designers from Israel, Bulgaria, USA, Germany, Australia, England, Russia, Canada, The Netherlands, India, Argentina, Venezuela, South Africa and other countries. Whether they reside around the corner in New York City or around the world in countries as far away as Australia and Japan, The Netherlands and Germany, many guests purchase tickets online in advance from USA International Fashion Shows® or affiliated ticket agents. Much of the audience of well-heeled consumers is visiting New York City for vacations and shopping trips. The events make perfect gifts for birthdays and other special occasions, and are suitable for both adults and well-behaved children over 8 years of age (non-alcoholic beverages always available).

“Gourmet Italian food is popular all over the world and Scopa will be a great match for the Champagne Fashion Brunch® series," according to fashion show producer Andres Aquino. "It's a beautiful setting, right in midtown and easily accessible. These events continue to give people — whether they are involved in the fashion business or simply lovers of great fashion — an opportunity to enjoy fashion and even buy fashions and accessories right off the runway," notes Mr. Aquino. "For the press, the shows are a constant supply of editorial content and for wholesale buyers, they provide an array of new and original inventory. For designers, they are a great forum to present their creations directly to the public, as well as getting press coverage. And for the audience, the events are a delightful Sunday afternoon out in New York — a chance to dress up and be part of the city's exciting fashion scene."

The schedule for upcoming shows is posted on the company’s web site. Tickets can be purchased online at: www.usafashionshows.com or through a number of ticket outlets around the world.
