NAPLES, Fla. – Sliding glass and zero-corner glass doors along the back walls of Harbourside Custom Homes’ new Grande Tuscano model in Mediterra showcase the home’s rock-scaped lagoon-style pool and lakefront homesite. The views take on a bird’s-eye perspective from a second-story balcony.

The custom single-family home, in Mediterra’s Serata neighborhood, has five bedrooms, five and one-half baths, living and dining rooms, a study and a second-floor gathering room. The home has 4,524 square feet of air-conditioned living space and 6,413 total square feet, including a three-car garage, covered entry, two covered lanais and the second-floor balcony.

Finishes throughout the Grande Tuscano include architectural and coffered ceilings, oversized porcelain tile flooring, granite countertops and double iron-and-glass entry doors. The study has a wood floor, grass cloth wall covering and a built-in with a desk and lighted bookcases.

The kitchen has a center island, a raised breakfast bar, granite countertops and custom cabinetry with a lazy Susan and sliding spice racks on each side of the six-burner Wolf stove and oven. Appliances include a wood-paneled dishwasher, a stainless steel Wolf oven tower, a stainless steel warming drawer and a wood-paneled side-by-side Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer.
The adjoining nook has a five-paneled, mitered-glass window directed to the custom pool, which features several levels of cascading waterfalls, a stacked-stone circular spa and tropical plantings. The family room’s built-in cabinetry accommodates a flat-screen TV and a wet bar, paneled refrigerator and cabinetry with built-in wine storage. Zero-corner sliding doors open onto the larger of the home’s two covered lanais.

The lanai also offers a summer kitchen with a stainless steel grill, hood and refrigerator, and a fireplace with built-in TV above.

The master suite has a tray ceiling, his-and-her walk-in closets and sliding glass doors opening to the smaller lanai area. Its bath has a freestanding raised jetted tub, his-and-her vanities and built-in banquettes. A mitered-glass window separates the tub and dual-entry shower, where an arched window overlooks a private walled garden.
One of the Grande Tuscano’s guest suites is shown as a sitting room for the lady of the house and has a full bath with dual sinks.

Sliding glass doors from the second-floor gathering room and bedroom open to the balcony. The gathering room has a wet bar with a wine refrigerator. The second floor also has a full bath.

The Grande Tuscano features interior design by Vogue Interiors, and is priced at $3.3 million, furnished.
Bonita Bay Group is developing Mediterra with the same commitment to meticulous planning, environmental stewardship, integrity and attention to detail that is evident at its flagship community, Bonita Bay. The overall master plan for the 1,697-acre community may include up to 950 residences and more than 1,000 acres of open space. Residents are eligible for membership in The Club at Mediterra, which offers two Tom Fazio-designed championship golf courses, a 25,000-square-foot clubhouse, named best clubhouse twice by the Collier Building Industry Association, and the Sports Center with tennis, an outdoor pool and fitness center.
