Chicago, IL, December 5, 2007: Beatles tribute band BritBeat - America's Premier Tribute To The Beatles will perform a holiday concert at Chicago’s Copernicus Center on December 28, 2007 at 8:00 pm to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the release of ‘Magical Mystery Tour’

Complete with mop tops,vintage instruments, Beatles’ era costumes, and harmonizing vocals, BritBeat,will be recreating the look and sound of ‘Beatlemania’ inside the Copernicus Center Theater to celebrate yet another milestone of Beatles history, the release of the television movie, ‘Magical Mystery Tour’, forty years ago in London. BritBeat is comprised of Chris Getsla as Paul, Bob Graham as John, Danny Leavitt as George and Joe Bologna as Ringo and perform one of the most authentic Beatles concert recreations in America.

Performing in the past with original Beatles’ drummer, Pete Best, and the last three years at Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL, BritBeat will perform at the Copernicus Center with three sets of music to recreate the Beatles’ Ed Sullivan, Sgt. Pepper and Abbey Road eras.

Copernicus Center, that once premiered the Chicago release of ‘A Hard Day’s Night,’ when it was the Gateway Theater back in 1964, will be channeled back to the sixties for both old and new generations of Beatles fans and once again be host to the excitement and passion of Beatlemania.

General Admission Tickets are $15.00 at the door. Doors open at 6:00 pm and showtime is 8:00 pm.
