MV Transportation, Inc. awarded $9 million San Luis Obispo Transportation Authority contract

December 6, 2007 / San Luis Obispo, CA — The Board of Directors for the San Luis Obispo Transportation Authority (SLORTA) voted unanimously to award MV Transportation, Inc. a three-year contract to operate its intercity fixed-route and paratransit service. The SLORTA service operates throughout San Luis Obispo County along the central California coast.

MV assumes responsibility of the contract from Southland in 25 days on January 1, and will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the transit system. SLORTA will provide the vehicles and facilities.
