Blyth Valley gives the game away this Christmas

Blyth Valley, the award-winning online insurance broker is sending its clients a hilarious online game in place of a Christmas card.

‘Chopper Dropper’, which was commissioned by Blyth Valley from Ipswich-based design agency Propeller Design, challenges players to help Father Christmas deliver gifts down chimneys by helicopter in time for Christmas.

The game is being sent free to clients and is available online at http://www.blyth-valley.co.uk/xmas_game

The game is delivered to clients in a humorous Christmas poem, written by Blyth Valley:

'Twas the day before Christmas – yes only a day
But Santa was stuck with a stationary sleigh:

“The Reindeer are striking – that’s why I’m in trouble
For today and tomorrow they’re asking for double!”

Christmas was cancelled, poor Santa in tears
But the team at Blyth Valley had other ideas…

“Let’s hire a chopper and take to the skies!
We’ll munch the carrots - you scoff the pies”

So with rotor blades humming on that magical night
Down chimneys came presents, to amaze and delight.

So if, by some chance, you awake on this Yule
To the sound of a chopper, and the faint whiff of fuel;

Fear not, it is Santa and the team at Blyth Valley
Delivering goodies for you and your family.

In the spirit of Christmas, every player who helps Santa deliver presents by midnight on Christmas Eve will be entered into a draw to win a brand new iPod nano.

“Blyth Valley is an online business and we really wanted to create a Christmas greeting for our clients that entertaining and which would be delivered by a digital medium,” explains Valerie Hockley, a director at Blyth Valley.

“We’re delighted with the finished game – it’s proven a real success with staff and families who have been testing it out for us. I’m convinced clients will enjoy playing it and pass it on to their friends too.”
