WELSH training company t2 business solutions and Procter Brothers Ltd have joined forces to provide professional sales techniques and training in order to achieve next years sales targets.

With aims to develop new accounts, and manage existing ones, the training, delivered by t2 business solutions has been tailored to meet the specific needs of the family run business.

Founded in 1740, Procter Brothers Ltd has several divisions including Machine Guarding, Security Fencing, Pest Control Products and Concrete Products. The Professional Selling Skills programme for Procter Brothers Ltd combined a variety of t2’s sales courses and qualifications, and fresh content, to create a bespoke package.

Jeremy Procter, Managing Director of Procter Brothers Ltd, said: “We decided to enlist t2 business solutions to create a tailored training and coaching programme for our sales staff. With new targets being set, it was important to ensure our sales teams had the necessary training to meet them.

“t2 created a programme just right for us. Split between our two locations in Bedwas and Garforth, the eight day training and coaching programme covers all aspects of selling that we wanted, from Sales Management training to one-on-one coaching.”

With aspects taken from t2’s Professional Selling Skills Open Course, Selling by Telephone and Key Account Management courses, the tailored training covers everything from acquiring new customers and handling objections, to appointment making skills and motivating a sales team.

Rob Marr, Managing Director of t2 business solutions, said: “The course t2 created for Procter Brothers Ltd is well rounded and covers everything from the basic fundamental skills to advanced selling techniques. This paired with in-depth coaching and mentoring, results in a blended learning experience that is proven to be more effective.

“I feel confident that the results will be beneficial for both the business and the individuals. Creating a course like this allows complete coverage of the business needs and issues and is aimed to create a sales team that delivers every time.”
